TMF’s Grants Ministry supports grantees' innovative efforts to provide social impact grounded in faith and improve the lives of those living in poverty. We invest in strong nonprofits with a clear mission and proven results. Our investment, made possible by the generous support of our donors, allows a unity of faith and funds to respond to the ever-growing needs of the church and the communities it serves.

Spring 2025
Agape empowers unsheltered women-led households with safe housing and vital services. Through Housing 4 Hope and Jericho Village, families access childcare, job training, counseling, and more. Over 300 women and children have found stability, with 75% securing better jobs, breaking cycles of poverty and homelessness through education, housing, and community support.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Collin County supports youth ages 5–18 with safe, enriching after-school programs in underserved communities. Serving over 10,000 kids annually, BGCCC fosters academic, social, and emotional development, helping youth reach their full potential as responsible, caring citizens through mentoring, education, and recreational activities across Collin County.
Catalyst Collective empowers at-risk youth (14–24) in Central Texas through mentorship, life skills, and purpose-driven programs. Rooted in Christian values, its Purpose Project offers mental health support, workshops, and guidance to build resilience. By partnering with schools and courts, Catalyst equips youth to set goals and transform their lives and communities.
CitySquare Paris addresses poverty and homelessness in Lamar County by meeting immediate needs —meals, clothing, hygiene, and laundry services — while building relationships for long-term change. Offering resource referrals and community engagement, CitySquare helps neighbors access housing, employment, and health support to lead stable, healthy lives and end cycles of poverty.
Ciudad Nueva serves downtown El Paso by empowering youth, families, and older adults through education, resources, and community-building. Since 2004, it has grown to support over 700 neighbors annually with after-school programs, summer camps, food distribution, and mentorship, all aimed at holistic transformation rooted in long-term relationships and gospel-centered care.
DFW Asylum Seeker Housing Network supports those in the Dallas Fort Worth area who are seeking asylum and are facing homelessness and hunger during the legal work permit wait. Providing housing, food, legal coordination, ESL, and job prep, DASH offers holistic care for 1 to 2 years. 300 individuals have found safety, stability, and independence through community support and compassionate, wraparound services.
Empower CDC bridges educational and economic gaps for Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed (ALICE) households in Houston. Since 1999, it has advanced equity through programs in financial and digital literacy, job training, youth leadership, and health. Through strategic partnerships, Empower strengthens families, fosters resilience, and drives sustainable community development tailored to local strengths and needs.
Casa del Lago serves Dallas’ Bachman Lake community with Christ-centered education and care for children and adults. Programs include early childhood education, literacy, ESL, and pastoral care. Casa nurtures spiritual, academic, and emotional growth, equipping families to thrive through holistic, inclusive support rooted in faith and neighborly love.
Faith Kitchen serves San Antonio's unhoused community three hot meals daily to homeless individuals at Haven for Hope, repurposing donated food with culinary expertise. It also offers sack lunches, snacks, and job training in food service. By hiring from its guests, it provides second chances and builds paths to self-sufficiency.
FAM Houston empowers refugee and immigrant families through hospitality, storytelling, and mutual support. Programs like the Women’s Empowerment Group, Youth Mentoring, and Shamba Ya Amani community farm build resilience and community connections. FAM fosters holistic, inclusive growth rooted in shared leadership and cultural exchange across the greater Houston area.
Finding Hope promotes mental and spiritual wellness through trauma-informed care, support groups, faith-based training, and professional referrals. Founded in 2024, it connects individuals to safe, compassionate mental health resources. Finding Hope reduces stigma and fosters healing, equipping people and communities to thrive emotionally, spiritually, and relationally.
Forest Forward drives equity in South Dallas through cultural preservation, education, and economic mobility. Anchored by the Forest Theater’s revitalization, it offers arts programming, educational opportunities, workforce development, and affordable housing. By blending innovation with heritage, Forest Forward empowers residents and transforms South Dallas into a thriving, resilient community.
Fort Bend Hope breaks generational poverty through education-focused programs for children and adults. From after-school support to ESL, GED, and computer literacy classes, Fort Bend Hope equips families with the skills needed to thrive. Education is the hub driving transformation, empowerment, and self-determined futures for the community.
Good Neighbor Settlement House supports underserved populations with food, shelter, education, and social services. Founded in 1953, it promotes self-sufficiency, dignity, and inclusion. Serving vulnerable populations like low-income families, the unhoused, and migrants, GNSH is a trusted community hub committed to expanding services and creating lasting, positive change across Brownsville and beyond.
BridgeBuilders serves 3,500 South Dallas households through tailored programs, including community outreach events, social services, workforce training, and year-round youth and senior programming. From resource fairs to literacy classes and job readiness workshops, we meet practical needs while building long-term resilience and holistic development.
Magdalena House offers safe housing, education, and trauma-informed care for mothers and children fleeing abuse. Families live in community while mothers pursue education and healing through tailored case management, counseling, and parenting support. With holistic wellness services, children thrive and mothers build stability, independence, and hope for a new future.
Mission Road Developmental Center serves children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) through residential homes and non-residential programs. Services include education, life skills, day programs, and community employment. Operating 18 adult community homes, 3 semi-independent-living apartment communities, and 2 residential cottages on our 22-acre main campus in south San Antonio, MRDC empowers 600+ individuals daily to live full, independent, and inclusive lives.
Neighbors in Action empowers Port Houston families through education, spiritual growth, and basic needs support. Programs include tutoring, adult education, summer camps, college prep, and emergency assistance. With a commitment to dignity and community transformation, Neighbors in Action fosters hope, opportunity, and long-term success for all ages.
New Hope Housing provides affordable, service-enriched housing for low-income individuals and families across Houston. With 11 communities and more under construction, New Hope integrates on-site support like clinics, libraries, and food pantries. Its Housing + Services model builds strong, inclusive neighborhoods that empower over 13,000 people toward long-term stability.
Project 10:27 combats senior loneliness in San Antonio through in-home visits, prayer, Bible study, and social engagement. Programs include personalized cards, day trips, and a Senior Adoption Program. Rooted in Luke 10:27, Project 10:27 builds spiritual and emotional connection, helping seniors feel loved, seen, and actively part of community.
Rahab’s Retreat & Ranch provides faith-based recovery and transitional care for sex trafficking victims and women in crisis. Services include counseling, life skills, education, job training, pet therapy, and holistic wellness. Welcoming women and children, Rahab’s supports deep healing and transformation toward independent, hope-filled lives — free of abuse and exploitation.
Ride On Center For Kids provides equine-assisted services to individuals with physical, emotional, and cognitive challenges. Accredited by PATH Intl., ROCK uses horses as therapy partners to improve movement, communication, and independence. Serving clients from toddlers as young as two to seniors, ROCK offers year-round programs that foster strength, healing, and growth.
Roy Maas Youth Alternatives supports children in crisis through emergency shelter, long-term care, transitional living, on-site charter schools, and trauma-informed counseling. Serving abused, neglected, and at-risk youth, RMYA helps children heal, grow, and build hopeful futures with compassionate care, academic opportunities, and therapeutic services tailored to their personal needs and circumstances.
Sharing Life combats poverty and hunger across North Texas by providing food, clothing, financial help, and education. Serving over 800,000 people annually, it offers innovative access through food pantries, seasonal programs, and job-readiness programs. Its Financial Empowerment Center equips families to achieve lasting stability, success, and dignity.
The Hope Center offers food, financial assistance, thrift store support, and referrals to empower individuals and families in crisis. Grounded in Christian faith, it blends practical help with spiritual care, guiding clients toward self-sufficiency while reflecting God’s love and fostering dignity, hope, and transformation in every life it touches.
The Landing supports survivors of human trafficking through a drop-in center, youth advocacy, and outreach. By meeting individuals where they are — on the streets, in courts, or online — they offer safety, resources, and healing. Their mission: to serve survivors of human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation with a trauma-informed approach fueled by the love of Christ.
The Nehemiah Center equips underserved children from cradle to college through accredited early education, enrichment programs, parent education, and wraparound services. By providing academic, emotional, and material support in a nurturing, faith-based environment, the Center helps families overcome poverty and prepares children for lasting success in life and learning.
The Way Back empowers formerly incarcerated individuals through comprehensive reentry services that reduce recidivism and restore self-sufficiency. For over 50 years, it has offered housing assistance, job training, mentoring, and accountability, helping people rebuild their lives and become contributing members of society, breaking cycles of incarceration and poverty.
Urban Enrichment Institute empowers young men in Houston’s Fifth Ward through academic support, life skills, career exploration, and emotional wellness. Serving 200 students annually, UEI partners with families and schools to help youth overcome adversity and grow into leaders—strengthening families, building brighter futures, and transforming their community through education and mentorship.
Wesley-Rankin Community Center has empowered West Dallas families for over 120 years through education, wellness, and community programs. It addresses systemic challenges with co-designed initiatives like adult workshops and senior services. Grounded in Methodist values, WRCC fosters resilience, opportunity, and generational change through holistic, whole-family support in a vibrant Latinx neighborhood.
Founded in 1873, Wiley University is a historically Black college in Marshall, Texas, offering 16 undergraduate and three graduate programs. St. Paul's Choral Scholars - Founded in 2005, St. Paul's Choral Scholars Program provides stipends to high school students in need, fostering excellence in choral music through performances and community outreach.
Texas Health Resources Foundation - Texas Health Resources is a nonprofit health system with 29 hospitals across North Texas. Its foundation raises funds to support clinical, educational, and research programs to enhance community health.
Texas Wesleyan University - Texas Wesleyan University offers transformative learning and research opportunities, focusing on critical thinking and socioeconomic mobility. The university provides tailored experiences and distributes over $8 million in scholarships annually.
The Concilio - The Concilio empowers Latino families in North Texas through advocacy and high-impact programs in education, health, and financial literacy. Last year, we served over 30,000 individuals, providing equitable solutions for diverse communities.
The Friends of the Elgin Library - The Friends of the Elgin Library support the library through activities that meet the literacy and recreational needs of the Elgin community. Serving over 35,000 people, the library has been a vital resource since 1986.
The Gleaning Network of Texas dba GROW North Texas - GROW North Texas works to improve the regional food system by supporting local, sustainable food production and equitable distribution. Their programs include Owenwood Farm, Fresh Stop Farm Stands, Farm Success, and Giving Grove NTX, benefiting thousands annually.

Wiley University - Founded over 150 years ago in Marshall, Texas, Wiley University is a private liberal arts institution affiliated with the United Methodist Church. One of the oldest HBCUs west of the Mississippi, it offers diverse degree programs, athletics, and leadership opportunities.
Windsor Village United Methodist Church - The Windsor Village Church Family is dedicated to building God’s Kingdom on earth, living as royal image bearers. Through prayer, study, worship, and service, we meet community needs and have launched independent ministries through The Power Connection.
Synergy Wesley-The United Methodist campus ministries of Synergy Wesley Foundation serve students from nine universities and college districts across the North Texas and Central Texas Conferences. It engages college students in ministry on campus, empowering them for ministry leadership, building authentic community, and helping them discern their vocational call.
Magdalena House - Magdalena House in San Antonio provides transitional housing and support for mothers and children who have escaped dangerous and abusive situations. It offers safe shelter, wellness programs, academic support, and nurturing relationships to help families recover from trauma and work toward self-sufficiency.
The Oikos Institute for Social Impact-The Oikos Institute for Social Impact ("Oikos") was established in 2020 to help BIPOC community institutions use their assets for communal transformation and economic renewal. Oikos focuses on learning opportunities and increasing access to mission-aligned resources for these institutions.
When the Problem is at Home-When the Problem is at Home focuses on enhancing senior living spaces with thoughtful modifications to promote comfort, accessibility, and safety. Homelessness among seniors is a significant concern in many areas, including Dallas, due to reasons such as lack of affordable housing and housing that doesn't meet standard requirements.
Wesley-Rankin Community Center (WRCC)-Wesley-Rankin Community Center (WRCC) is a faith-founded nonprofit serving 500 individuals annually in West Dallas. They offer educational programs for K-8, college and career readiness tools for high school students, leadership courses for adults, and community-building for older adults.
Lone Star Justice Alliance-LSJA is dedicated to reforming the juvenile justice system through litigation, advocacy, and education, focusing on initiatives like Transformative Justice, JustSentencing, and Reimagine Justice to reduce recidivism and engage communities for change. It also provides support for justice-involved youth and advocates for policy changes at state and federal levels.
Meals on Wheels New Mexico (MOWNM) provides nearly 5,000 weekly meals in eight diet types to seniors, people with disabilities, and low-income, homebound individuals. Deliveries cover 38 routes in the Albuquerque area Monday through Friday, and frozen meals are shipped statewide, with each meal including a wellness check from a trained volunteer.
Austin Street Center-Austin Street Center (ASC) is at the forefront of the work that is reshaping Dallas. ASC’s goal is to ensure that every homeless person who comes to us finds hope, support, and the resources they need to transition out of homelessness. ASC is committed to helping individuals find a new sense of identity and confidence in their ability to secure permanent housing.
Taste Project Arlington Culinary Arts Workforce-Project is a nonprofit organization based in Fort Worth and Arlington, Texas. The organization's mission is to provide access to healthy, quality meals through a pay-what-you-can community restaurant, a workforce development program, and an urban garden. It also leads the iHEAL community collaboration to improve health equity among low-income adults.
Saranam-Saranam is a 501c3 organization in Albuquerque, NM, helping families overcome homelessness and poverty through housing, education, and community support. The organization provides transitional housing, education, vocational coaching, and supportive services to help families achieve self-sufficiency.
The Children’s Bereavement Center of the Rio Grande Valley-The Children’s Bereavement Center of the Rio Grande Valley (CBC-RGV) aims to provide free bereavement counseling to grieving children, youth, and their families in the Rio Grande Valley area. The organization offers individual and group counseling, expressive therapies, and grief camps, as well as educational institutes for school counselors.
Project Transformation North Texas-Project Transformation North Texas aids 700 children and youth yearly with summer and afterschool programs at 9-10 locations. Its unique mentoring model develops literacy, social, emotional, and leadership skills, while addressing the impact of COVID-19 on learning and development in 2024.
